The 2008 Porsche Cayenne Service Information is not intended as a reference for repairs or for the diagnosis of technical problems.
The 2nd generation Cayenne, Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo models have a higher-performance engine with direct fuel injection (DFI). The basic version of the sporty off-road vehicle has an increased power output of 40 HP (29 kW). The Cayenne is driven by a 290 HP (213 kW) six-cylinder engine. Displacement has been increased from 3.2 litres to 3.6 litres and the torque was increased from 230 ftlb. (310 Nm) to 285 ftlb. (385 Nm).
